All About Leadville & Twin Lakes Event Weekend Terms & Conditions

1. Participant Eligibility

Participation is open to any individual who makes qualifying purchases at one or more eligible Lake County businesses during the Event period, submits valid proof of purchase per the receipt requirements below, and complies with all submission deadlines. Receipts must total a minimum of $100.00 to earn one (1) Downtown Dollar raffle entry. Purchases may be aggregated across multiple eligible businesses. 

2. Eligible Businesses

Only retail or service-providing businesses subject to Lake County sales tax and physically located within Lake County, Colorado are eligible. The following are expressly excluded: nonprofit organizations (regardless of retail or service activity); any entity exempt from Lake County sales tax; and businesses located outside of Lake County. Leadville Main Street reserves the right to determine eligibility in its sole discretion.

3. Event Period and Purchase Window

All qualifying purchases must be made between Friday, May 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Mountain Time and Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Mountain Time. Purchases made outside this window do not qualify. Online purchases through the digital storefront of an eligible Lake County business may qualify if the transaction is completed within this window; digital receipts for online purchases must be uploaded by Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Mountain Time. No online receipt submissions will be accepted after this cutoff.

4. Receipt and Proof of Purchase Requirements

All receipts must include: (a) name of the business, (b) date of the transaction, (c) time stamp, and (d) total amount spent. Paper, text message, and email receipts are accepted. All receipts must be legitimate and verifiable. Submission of altered, duplicated, or fraudulent receipts will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Submission Deadlines

Physical receipts must be submitted in person to the Leadville Visitor’s Center no later than Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Mountain Time. Digital receipts for online purchases must be uploaded through the designated submission portal by the same deadline. All deadlines are strictly enforced; Leadville Main Street is not responsible for technical difficulties or delays.

6. Downtown Dollars and Raffle Entries

For every $100.00 in qualifying purchases submitted, a participant receives one (1) Downtown Dollar raffle entry. Partial increments below $100.00 do not yield an entry. Participants may direct their Downtown Dollar(s) to the Leadville Loot raffle bucket(s) of their choice.

7. Bonus Incentive — Local Love Ticket

The first ten (10) participants to submit verified receipts totaling $1,000.00 or more will automatically receive one (1) Local Love Ticket redeemable for one (1) free Melanzana item. Awarded on a first-come, first-served basis by time of submission. Local Love Tickets have no cash value and are non-transferable.

8. Raffle Prizes

Current prizes include: 10 individual free Melanzanas; full Nordic Center buyout for 35 people (food included); personalized aerial tour of Leadville with Ty Hall; and one entrance into the Leadville 100 Bike Race. Prizes are subject to change; additional prizes may be added. All prizes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and winners are responsible for any applicable taxes. Leadville Main Street reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a listed prize becomes unavailable.

9. Disqualification

Leadville Main Street reserves the right to disqualify any participant who submits fraudulent, altered, or duplicate receipts; makes purchases at ineligible businesses; misses submission deadlines; or otherwise violates these Terms and Conditions. Disqualified participants forfeit all entries and incentives.

10. General Provisions

Leadville Main Street reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Event or these Terms and Conditions at any time. Leadville Main Street and its partners are not liable for any losses or damages arising from participation, including technical failures or prize availability issues.
